Beverly Kindle-Walker (Democratic Party) ran for election to the Wayne County Commission to represent District 2 in Michigan. She did not appear on the ballot for the Democratic primary on August 2, 2022.

Biography

Kindle-Walker received an associate degree from Wayne County Community College and a bachelor's degree in community development from Central Michigan University. She also earned a graduate certificate in public administration from Central Michigan University. Her professional experience includes working as a legislative assistant to Wayne County Commissioner Tim Killeen (D) and Detroit City Council members Brenda Scott and Clyde Cleveland. She has also served as an elected Democratic precinct delegate for over 25 years.[1]

The city of Detroit, Michigan, held elections for mayor, city council, city clerk, and the Detroit Board of Police Commisisoners on November 7, 2017. A primary election was held on August 8, 2017. The filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was April 25, 2017.[2]

Incumbent Brenda Jones and incumbent Janee Ayers defeated Mary Waters and Beverly Kindle-Walker in the general election for two at-large seats on the Detroit City Council.
