Perlbrew, Emacs, Flymake So I’m a seasoned user of Emacs (I started using it back to 1999). I’m using it for all things, especially Perl coding, using the cperl-mode Emacs mode. Lately, I’ve come to using flymake. Flymake is a tool in Emacs, which tries to compile the file you are editing, and displays compilation errors in your buffer. on-the-fly syntax checking Java in Emacs - credmp
A couple of days ago I wrote about using fly-make. Even though I had only used flymake with C++ code, I tend to do most of my work related coding in Java. Curiosity (it seems I am not the only one) led me to the Emacs wiki in order to find elisp code that will allow me to use flymake with Java.
