おっ、これ元ネタあんのね。 SONIC YOUTH「Goo」ジャケの元ネタらしき写真をtumblrにて発見。 レイモンド・ペティボーンがイラストを描いていたのは知ってたけど、元ネタがあったなんて知らなかった。 いや待てよ、元ネタかどうかは判らないじゃん。「Goo」ジャケのオマージュとして、最近撮った写真かもしれないではないか。と思い立ち色々と調べていたら、全く予期せぬ驚愕の事実を知り、腰を抜かす。ほんとは腰を抜かしてないけど、そんくらいの表現がしっくりくる。 写真は1960年代に撮られたもので、サングラスをしたカップルはモリーン・ヒンドレーという女性とデヴィッド・スミスという男性で関係は夫婦らしい。デヴィッド・スミスにはマイラ・ヒンドレーという義姉がいて、その恋人がイアン・ブレイディーという男で、この二人が英国ではかなり有名なシリアルキラーのようだ。 詳しくは下記サイトに記されています。
