Canton-based Queenie’s is expanding to Woodstock—the Southern restaurant will serve lunch, dinner and snacks at Reformation Brewery’s new facility starting this September.
The array of dishes runs between $8-$24 and includes a mix of Southern fare and brewery-friendly snacks.
Reformation’s new space is currently under construction in Woodstock and is scheduled to open in August. In addition to housing research and development, the new 6,000-square-foot facility will be Reformation’s public taproom and event space and include an onsite kitchen and two public bars.
The partnership is the result of longstanding friendship between Reformation CEO and cofounder Spencer Nix and Queenie’s founder and owner Zach Kell (Goin’ Coastal Seafood, The Downtown Kitchen).
“I first met Zach Kell when he opened Downtown Kitchen in Canton and it was the best local dining experience I’d had in my life.” Nix said. “Zach remained one of my closest confidants to bounce ideas and to taste new brews. He’s been quick to stand with every wild idea. So this winter I baited my not so veiled hook and fished out a whole new idea.”
Kell adds: “It has been exciting to watch Reformation grow leaps and bounds all while keeping true to themselves and their customers. We are very excited to continue this relationship by growing from downtown Canton to Queenie’s BBQ in downtown Woodstock.”
