Marcy's phone is a minor object in Amphibia. It is owned by Marcy Wu.
Appearance[]
Marcy's phone is light blue and has a small white chicken logo in the front.
Background[]
In "Marcy at the Gates", Marcy checks her phone's 3-second countdown for the stinkshrooms to go off.
In "The Sleepover to End All Sleepovers", Marcy is seen using her phone during her sleepover with Anne, Sprig, and Polly. Later, its alarm goes off to wake up the kids, who actually stood up all night.
In the flashback of "True Colors", Marcy snaps a picture of the Calamity Box in the book Dr. P's Extraordinary Guide To Magic & Mystery with her phone, then sends it to Sasha's phone as a birthday gift suggestion for Anne and tells the two to meet her downtown to check out the box.
In "The Core & The King", its Core-possessed owner is seen disassembling the phone, claiming its technology to be pathetic.
During the epilogue of "The Hardest Thing", 10 years later, Marcy receives texts from Sasha updating each other on reuniting at the airport. Marcy drops her phone along with her birthday gift bags for Anne upon running up to hug Sasha as the two reunite.
Trivia[]
- Despite being disassembled by Darcy, the phone Marcy had in the epilogue could have been a new phone acquired during the ten-year timeskip or the phone was simply reassembled.
- Its battery is shown on the top right corner and though not full, it seems to be more than half.
- It shows no Wi-Fi signal on the top right corner, which is on the left of the battery symbol.
- Its countdown on the screen is an egg going to crack, and when it strikes zero, the egg hatches off a cartoon chick with a bow tie that squawks.
- During "The Sleepover to End All Sleepovers" and a flashback in "True Colors", the back of Marcy's phone shows a duck wearing a blue hat, referencing Donald Duck.
