Our buff rooster Charles tried crowing yesterday. It was the first time, at least that I heard. It was hysterical. He sounded like an old hound dog. Roar roar roar. I know I will come to love this muffled crow when he gets his big boy voice (he is 14 weeks) but I enjoyed his entering puberty.
And thanks to whoever on here told me to look for red on the legs! He has begun. His australorp brother hasn’t started yet. Do their legs get red too? Harder to tell I know.
