Breakdown of office real estate fit out cost in Europe 2023
A complete office fit out includes the transformation of an empty space into a suitable office environment, including the necessary structures, electrical furnishings, mechanical equipment, and furniture. Out of the total cost, office furniture constituted about 18 percent in 2023. The fit out itself, including electrical, plumbing, drywall, acoustic, and finishing works accounted for 56 percent of the total costs. On average, a full fit out in Europe cost about 1,537 euros per square meter, but it varied widely across different cities.
