Average office real estate fit-out cost in Europe 2024, by city

The square meter cost of an office fit-out in different European cities ranged between 750 euros and 2,629 euros per square meter in 2024. Fitting out an office space was most expensive in London, England, where it cost 2,629 euros per square meter. In Sofia and Belgrade, the cost was under 1,000 euros per square meter. A complete office fit-out includes the transformation of an empty space into a suitable office environment, including the necessary structures, electrical furnishings, mechanical equipment, and furniture. Out of the total cost, office furniture constituted about 18 percent.
