- "Artoo, get us off this autopilot! It's gonna get us both killed!"
- ―Anakin Skywalker during the Battle of Naboo
Autopilot was a computer system on a starship that allowed it to be navigated without input from a droid or sentient pilot. During the Battle of Naboo, the N-1 starfighter in which Anakin Skywalker was hiding along with R2-D2 engaged its autopilot to join the fight over the planet Naboo. Skywalker had R2-D2 disengage the autopilot so that he could manually control the starfighter.[1]
