Chest of Broken Hearts is an original song featured in The Song, the fourth episode of Smash's second season. It was written by Marc Shaiman & Scott Wittman. Only a small verse was included in the episode and, as such, it was not released.
In the context of Smash, it was written by Jimmy Collins and was a possible song choice for Veronica Moore's one night only concert, along with I'm Not Lost.
