I can't believe it's July already and I've actually kept up with Kate's 365/2011 Journal (if you don't know already look here)
Here are my filled in June pages
I seem to have packed quite a lot into 30 days despite having a poorly hubby for most of them!!
My July pages are about the garden, the lull is over and now the summer plants are really showing their colours now!
I've just used an Imaginisce Snag'em stamp and an Artemio flower from a set of flowers and a selection of Distress inks to stamp randomly for a background, masked off an area for Mort with a curl(Stampotique) and a wood mounted favourite of mine from Inkadinkado. The little Stampotique bird is called "Strut Your Stuff" and I just love him!!
I'm going to enjoy getting back to my garden this month!
I'm looking forward to having a look at how others see July!
Thanks for dropping by and I will enjoy reading any comments made.

A SCRAP BOOK!
or rather, a book made from scraps.I don't know how I manage to get so many scrappy bits of paper OR worse still why I hang on to them! I mean, some of them are really the tiniest of scraps and although some do end up in the bin I often end up putting them into a little box until the lid won't fit!(if I'm honest I don't just have one scrap boxlol) Sooo here is the result of my latest clear out. No theme, just a folded book of scraps although I have done contrasting sides.
The front and back cover
The oranges and greens
The purples and pinks
There is room in the middle for some post-it notes - if only I can remember where they are!
There are quite a few Crafty Individuals images here and I used a combination of Kaisercraft, Paper Artsy and Artemio stamps to help the scraps out!!
At least it's kept me quiet while hubby is still recovering, hopefully he will be back to work next week!
Thanks for looking, Chris

RUNNING LATE - AGAIN!
It's been a busy week...well not really, but hubby has been off and we have been away for a while, then out and about when we got back!(more of that in my next post)
My May pages complete
and a rejigged June - I wasn't happy with my first lot of journal spots(bit insipid) so used a piece of paper from a pack I got at a bargain price in LIDL.
Did most of this while away, inspired(LOL) by the amount of weeds that have appeared in the garden at our caravan. Doodled most and then added some Artemio stamps(which I also used on the replaced spots along with a stamp that I bought ages ago and know not where from!)
If you want to know more about the 365/2011 journal look at the kathrynwheel to find out more.
Be back soon with pics of what I've been up to!
Thanks for looking, Chris

Fell at 4th
OK, so I didn't make it, following my little argument with the actimel pot(see previous post) I lost heart, my days 3 and 4 tags, which I was quite pleased with, ruined, I didn't have the heart to carry on and spent 2 days giving my wardrobe a thorough clearout(very theraputic)before even looking at my ruined tags. Anyhow, decided I could salvage some of day 4's took off some bits, got a new paper and made this
Nothing like the first one as I had to use a much bigger image. Couldn't salvage day 3's tag and decide to call it a day. There's always next year!!
I have looked at Tim's blog each day and been amazed at everyones interpretations on the artyjen link, and hope to try some of the brilliant techniques but sadly not on the 12 tags:(
Partly this is because I have some new tablets that are making me slightly lightheaded at times(the practice nurse says I will get used to them) and partly because the beginning of December is quite difficult as it reminds me that my mum and dad aren't around for Christmas, they both died on the same date four years apart.
However, today was my birthday, and thanks to my lovely hubby I've had a lovely day. We should have been waking up to the lovely view from our caravan, but when we went up on Friday afternoon we arrived to find we had a flood as soon as we turned on the water - so it was a case of mop up and leave, as there was no way we could get it fixed so late. We did stop at a lovely pub for a meal on the way home and hubby suggested that we go to Dawn Bibby's today as he had seen the e-mail announcing a make and take day. So today I woke up and opened my present from him - A melt pot!!! and Johnny Depp's Alice in Wonderland WHOOOO!!- and off we went to Dawn's studio where she showed me how to make this.
The holly is on a lovely Artemio stamp collection, which I just had to buy, along with the beautiful Graphic 45 paper!
We then went for a lovely lunch and then off to see my future DIL do a reverse bungee jump. I'm so proud of her, as she and her friend raised £307 pounds for Christies Hospital.
Got home and my youngest son arrived with roses and Nigel Slater's "Tender" with some fantastic recipes and info.
I'm back on track again!!:)
If you've got to the end of this rant then thanks for sticking with me! Thanks for looking in the first place
