When I look through the window at our caravan I can see flowers, trees, shrubs but I can't see much wildlife apart from the birds but I know they are there!
I did see a Red Admiral today and we seem to be getting more flies and wasps in through the door. When I go closer I can see smaller insects, moths, slugs and snails. In the Summer some of the plants are covered in visiting bees. The Jackdaws have been very noisy today and I think the Swallows may be gone by the time we next visit, they have been gathering on the wires down the road!
I used a background that has been in my journal for a while and added some napkin scraps. The stamps are mainly Artistic Stamper and Sheena Douglas
I am linking to Art Journal Journey where Corinne's theme is Through My Window
And also to The Artistic Stamper where the theme is Things with Wings.
I would also like to welcome my newest followers and say Thank You to all of my followers! I love to read your comments - and I will try my best to visit you when connections allow!
Thanks for looking, Chris

If?
A few years ago when we were looking to move from our old house we had a good look around for somewhere new! My eldest son took us around Morecambe, not too far away from our caravan. As it turned out there was nothing that we could afford anywhere near the sea, although we did see a three storey house that needed work doing to it, right on the sea front with lovely views. We decided that as we were getting older it wasn't very practical so we are here in our flat!
I often wonder though….
This might have been the view from our window!
We are lucky enough to be able to visit Morecambe so I don't really have any regrets!
This is to be linked to Art Journal Journey where Corinne's theme is From My Window.

The square window?
Corinne has chosen a brilliant theme for this month at Art Journal Journey - 'Through My Window' and I can feel a few journal pages coming on!
My first is my imagined life as a mediaeval lady!
The page, as often, started as a mop up page! A little bit of stamping, stencilling and doodling and some scraps (along with a saved free magazine page from Austria)and a Tim Holtz Small talk phrase and I'm looking out of my window wondering what my future may be!
I am scheduling this post as we are going away for a long weekend!

Taking Time
I was sorting through my bag of French bits and pieces that I saved to use at some point and found a couple of napkins with the cute character at the bottom of this page. I used multi medium to stick him on and then some circles and the repeated quote 'meilleurs moments' (best times) from PA EEG07 stamps by Emma Godfrey. The clock and the quote on the card are from PA Clocks4.
There are branches of the French Coffee shop all over France although the one where we spent a happy half hour was in Troyes at the start of our holiday in June.
I would like to link to Paper Artsy where the theme this time is 'Circles'. I haven't joined in here for ages …no reason except I have usually been too late to link!!!
I also wish to link to Art Journal Journey where the current topic 'Time' is coming to an end. There have been lots of fabulous journal pages at this lovely 'join in when you can' challenge!
