History[]

End of the Timelines[]

100 years before The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild[]

Robbie had worked with Purah and Princess Zelda in excavating the Guardians to prepare for Calamity Ganon's imminent return and discovered the Sheikah Slate which the princess and much later, Link would put to good use and Robbie is able to get the ancient Guardians working. Both him and Purah had brought a severely injured Link, brought to him by two Sheikah warriors to the Shrine of Resurrection during the Great Calamity while Princess Zelda brings the Master Sword to Korok Forest for the Great Deku Tree to watch over and subsequentially seals both Ganon and herself with her newly awakened power that she had sought for years, ending the Great Calamity and preventing further destruction.

Age of Burning Fields[]

After the terrible events have passed, Robbie had left for the Akkala Region where he established the Akkala Ancient Tech Lab to keep up his work. Both he and Purah had separated for their safety and set up their own labs, so that in case that if any of them pass away the other would be able to help Link when he returns. Due to the majority of his time spent on researching the Guardians, he is easily able to destroy the hostile machines and created ancient weapons that proved more effective against them than the standard weapons. He invented the first Ancient Arrows and eventually met Jerrin who would assist him, and they eventually got married and had a son named Granté. As Link's time in the Shrine of Resurrection is coming to a close, Robbie began to prepare for Link to visit him and created a machine that would create Ancient Soldier Armor to reduce damage from the Guardians in exchange for Rupees and Materials and named it "Cherry", after his first love, the name that Jerrin strongly disapproved of and preferred it to be called Ancient Oven instead.

During The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild[]

The blue flame on the Furnace that fueled Cherry had gone out around the time Link had woken up from his slumber, at the cost of his memory. When Link visits the Akkala Ancient Tech Lab, Robbie spots him staring at it and will ask if he is the same Link from a hundred years ago. Whether Link confirms or denies it, Robbie will be skeptical and will ask Link to show him his scars first, when he does, Robbie will be relieved to see that he is the real Link and not some imposter in disguise. If Link has brought the blue flame to the Furnace without meeting Robbie, he will immediately recognize Link as the same Champion from a hundred years ago. He notices that Link does not recognize him and will reintroduce himself and will ask if he has met Purah yet and Link will either tell him that she reverted to a childlike state, or he can deny ever meeting her. He will then ask if he knew of Ganon regaining his power; regardless of Link's answer, Robbie will go over the tale of how his lab was founded and it was for the purpose of stopping Calamity Ganon once and for all and freeing Princess Zelda. As Jerrin was too stubborn to help get the Furnace running again due to her jealousy that he has to Cherry over her, Robbie will ask Link to take the blue flame from the Ancient Furnace at Tumlea Heights and make his way back. Upon doing so, Robbie will be overjoyed for Cherry being operational again before giving Link some credit and will reward Link three Ancient Arrows. He will explain that Cherry will give Link any Ancient Weapons or Armor in exchange for Ancient Materials and Rupees. He will tell Link that destroying Calamity Ganon will be his priority and Robbie is looking for a way to take back control of the Guardians from the monstrosity, despite how difficult it would be.
