Pokémon Black and White is an entry in the Pokémon series, released for the DS in September 2010 in Japan and March/April 2011 everywhere else. For a first in the mainline games, its region, Unova, is not based on a location in Japan, rather being based on New York City. The games received a direct sequel, Pokémon Black 2 and White 2.

Sorry for the late featured article, I was busy thinking about the wage gap. Since the new Zelda game released recently, this month's featured article is Daruk, as suggested by Arctic Vixen Star Gamer. Remember to suggest A-class articles on our nominations page!
Daruk is one of the four champions who debuted in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, representing the Goron. He offers a skill known as Daruk's Protection, which Link can use to defend himself. He is also the ancestor of Yunobo. He also appears in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity.
With this feature, this means all four champions from BotW are now featured articles! Huzzah.

I will make posts asking what Mario game does something best, (gameplay, story, movement, etc.) and this will start in two days, (or maybe more if I am busy) and I will hold a vote for each of them, (I will take my vote into account) and may the best game win!

This article is about the first issue of the Nintendo Power magazine. Featuring clay models of Mario and Wart on its cover, this magazine included sections on Super Mario Bros. 2, the Second Quest of The Legend of Zelda, and some of the baseball games the NES had to offer. It was the first of 285 iterations of the monthly magazine, which ended in 2012 at 285 issues.

Code Name: S.T.E.A.M. is a game for the Nintendo 3DS released in 2015. The game centers on a task force led by President Abraham Lincoln and featuring literary and folklore characters like Henry Fleming and John Henry as they fend off an alien invasion. The game also has Amiibo support with Fire Emblem, which was also developed by Intelligent Systems.

Fox McCloud is the main protagonist of the Star Fox series. He is the head of Team Star Fox, an interplanetary team consisting of himself, Falco Lombardi, Peppy Hare, Slippy Toad, Krystal, and others. Outside of the Star Fox series, he also appears in the Super Smash Bros. series.

Edge is a character in Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope. She is a stoic sword-wielding Rabbid who, unlike most other Rabbid characters in the Mario + Rabbids series, is not based on any existing character from the Mario franchise. She joins Mario and the others to help defeat the evil Cursa.

Sin and Punishment is a Nintendo 64 shooting game released in 2000. Originally only available in Japan (despite having English voice acting), the game was released worldwide on the Virtual Console in 2007. Set in the far future year of 2007, the game centers on Saki Amamiya and Airan Jo, two members of an organization dedicating to fighting mutants known as Ruffians as well as a peacekeeping organization that has oppressed the people of Japan. The game had a sequel, Sin & Punishment: Star Successor, which released for the Wii in 2009 and focuses on Saki and Airan's son Isa Jo.
