History
Thorion the Hunter was the main warrior of New Asgard, who fought against the forces of Apokolips led by Thanoseid. After the umpteeth defeat of his army, Thanoseid decided to listen to Thorion's half-brother L'ok D'saad who was asking for the Mother Cube to free the Promethean gods and let Ragnarok happened. Meanwhile Thorion was warned about that by his father Odin and he tried to stop L'ok, but he used the Mother Cube, luckly, Thorion used his hammer against the energies of the Cube; the resulting explosion made him absorb those energies, becoming a new being: the Celestial, with his new form made with the Promethean gods.[1]
He later battled alongside many other dimensional counterparts of the Avengers to help defeat Immortus and the Time-Keepers during the Destiny War.[2]Attributes

Trivia
- One of Thorion's civilian identities is Don Free, which is an amalgamation of Donald Blake (Earth-616) and DC's Scott Free (New Earth).
- Even if Thorion is the biological son of Odin the Highfather (because L'ok D'saad called him half-brother), Thorion could be the reincarnation of Thanoseid's son, Orion, (deceased during the Secret Crisis of the Infinity Hour and buried on Apokolips) because the Hunter called the ruler of Apokolips "true father", another clue come from Thorion himself who is called "the rebirth". Despite that Thanoseid seemed don't considered him as the possible reincarnation of his son.
- Thorion was never directly shown to be a member of Judgment League Avengers. However, in Avengers: Forever #12, he was seen among the members of dimensional counterparts of the Avengers, which implied he joined Judgment League Avengers at some point.
