I watched a movie on TBN early this morning called
"THE HEART OF TEXAS!"
It is a true story that runs deep unto God's throne room
of forgiveness.
This was not an incident of spreading slander, mean-spiritedness,
name calling....this was an incident so tragic, it shook the very
roots of this Texas town.
Good Morning. I hope this story will bless your socks off and
help restore all those relationships that have been broken for so
long, they don't even remember what started the feud.
Now before I begin to share this story, get all the
wiggles out...put on sweatin' with the oldies and lift
those legs...1...2...3...4...feel the burn
1...2...3...4...do a left turn
Continue your work out and then meet me in the
prayer room.
Continue to remember Cindy and Ralph Adkins as Ralph
heals over the next 4 months. Cindy reported that Ralph
was able to feed himself with a large serving fork...
YOU GO RALPH
Cindy, thank you for sending me your beautiful
hand made Thanksgiving card...you have sooo very much
on your mind and you still think of others.
Remember Turkey and the earthquake...450 dead but
Praise the Lord, a 2 week old baby girl was pulled from
the rubble alive as well as her mother.
Anne, I am praying for your situation at work.
Many silent requests for restorations of family.
CONTINUE...THE HEART OF TEXAS
The main character of this true story was 4-year old
JOY. They say her name fit her perfectly...she was a joy
to look at, she spread joy, and the whole town loved her.
Joy's father was named Grover. He was wealthy.
He came to meet Mr. Parker when he was driving
his family home from church. He passed the small
African American church and he stopped because it seemed
there was trouble. Grover found out someone had stolen
the church's air conditioner. He gave the pastor money to
buy a new air conditioner. It was at this time his friendship
with Mr. & Mrs. Parker began.
The Parkers' were very poor but Grover loved their precious
spirit. Any need they had arise Grover was there to provide
it, no matter how big or small...blankets or food...it just did
not matter.
Mr. & Mrs. Parker loved precious Joy with her big eyes and
whimsical nature.
Joy and Grover had been to baseball practice that fateful
day. Joy wanted him to pull off the road as her little
bladder was not going to make it home...she needed to potty.
Grover had barely pulled over when Joy scampered into the weeds
and disappeared.
On her way back to the car, she was hit and killed by a hit and
run driver. Family and friends had never seen Grover cry let
alone let out wails that sounded like a whale that had lost its' mate.
The police showed up at Grover's house to report they found the hit
and run driver. It was Mr. Parker and he said he knew he hit
something but not precious Joy. Mr. & Mrs. Parker wailed with grief.
Upon hearing, Grover rushed to the Parker's as he knew they would
stricken with grief and he needed to comfort them.
He bought them new clothes to wear to the funeral and the Parker's
set on the front row, right beside Grover and his wife.
Grover testified for Mr. Parker before the grand jury
and no charges were filed.
Grover built the Parker's a brand new house with all new
furniture.
FORGIVENESS
I want to think I would react that way but I don't
know. Some of our unforgiveness seems so silly in
comparsion.
Jesus said, if we can't forgive, how do we expect him to
forgive us.
When we have unforgiveness toward someone , they are chained to
us...every where we go we carry those buckets of anger...it breaks the
spirit down.
If someone won't forgive you or they believe they are high and lifted up
and did not do anything...that is for God to take care of.
JESUS IS THE ONLY ONE THAT IS HIGH AND LIFTED
UP AND SETS ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE FATHER
INTERCEDING FOR US.
HUGS MY FRIENDS
