Graphic mint...

This combination of details is delicious – a prominent dose of copper, a petite {industrial} fan, and a side of graphic mint.
Lovely bit of details captured by Mia Linnman {of Solid Frog}.

Monochromatic amusement...

A sprinkle of monochromatic tableware is just what my Tuesday desires.
On the left, stacked ceramic charm from Tine K Home.  On the right, bone china spoons with capricious curves from Caroline Swift.  My table is begging to be amused with these lovelies.

Naked...

My life {er...couch} feels naked without this {I know, the melodrama is palpable}...

Arithmetic...

Spam minus preservatives plus cotton equals tea towel perfection {click here for more of my whimsical tea towel obsession}.
Hawaii, I miss you.  I miss spam musubi, tonkatsu, bento, plate lunch, shave ice, and blueberry beer, too.

Another Autumn week...

It's official.  Golden tones and amber hues are drifting from the trees {and floating into in my yard}.  Ah, Autumn.  These ruffles of yarn laced together {the Leonora Scarf} should help insulate against the crisp Pacific Northwest mornings.
Enjoy this glimpse of my recent words at EcoSalon {take a look, maybe even leave a comment or rate my words}.  Indulge in the gorgeous aesthetics of mathematics with this collection of graphic and bold numerical morselsTour a gorgeous modern model home with a fireplace to die for.  Sink your toes into this interior boasting floors of sand {yes, sand}.  Plunge into my thoughts on green design and peruse a new online magazine.    Explore a mid-century modern muse.  Devour these cardboard sculptures to hang on your wall and suspend from your ceiling.  Admire this lovely and creative studio.  Let your eyes examine these graphic eye charts on an array of commodities.  I know, I know...a lot to read...but oh so worth it.

Get bold between the sheets...

Despite my best efforts, I cannot seam to harness sunshine and will it into my day, but I can infuse a glowing ray of color to nestle just beneath my duvet.  These sheets are the epitome of Summer.
These amiable wares from Anthropologie are an irresistibly vibrant color in the delicate form of a vivid design. The Circle ‘Round Sheet Set is a lovely field of, “petite dots and bitty petals,” sprinkled on a bed of organic cotton.

{This was my brave attempt to embrace Fall - only I think I still wound up tangled in Summer.}

Scavenger hunt...

Sifting through the new delights at Anthropologie always leaves me feeling full {of ways to spend my life savings} and graciously satisfied. This Copper Clad Dresser has me smitten; I would like to set 'him' up with his copper tolix soul mate for undeniable eternal bliss.
And now, a scavenger hunt. Here are a few of my words on EcoSalon. Squeeze the last few drops of summer from September with this gathering of rope commodities for a nautical splash of coastal bliss. Tour the art studio of my dreams {in a lovely custom barn}. Learn the proper proportions of world geography with these gorgeous wall maps {do I even need to mention the metallic seas?!?}. Take another trip through Liza Giles' London flat {no, I will never tire of this interior}.

Elegant entomology...

Beetles make me swoon {remember this?}.  Just to clarify, I love beetles in the form of graphics and commodities - the real life crawlers give me angst.  This linen Beetle Tea Towel by Warbeck & Cox is a safe way to let beetles mingle in your kitchen.  If you simply cannot seem to get enough exoskeletons, check out these shiny {and kind of creepy} cockroach magnets.

Useful and beautiful...

"Have nothing in your house that you do not know to be useful, or believe to be beautiful," this is the wisdom of William Morris and the tradition Cox & Cox has adopted with their catalogue of curiosities that are both useful and beautiful
This Recycled Indian Paper Pad is a lovely surface to grace with a pen, offering graphic glimpses made entirely of recycled paper from India {ranging from Bollywood posters to washing detergent ads}.

Cardboard cushion...

Confession:  I have been lurking through the archives of Lushlee.  This is one of the many delicious tastes I found.
Is it a cardboard box or somewhere soft to lay your head?  Both; it's a digitally printed pillowcase with a conscious, by Snurk.  Forty percent of the proceeds are donated to an organization dedicated to helping homeless youth.  So, if you sleep on a soft cardboard pillow, someone else may not have to sleep under a brittle cardboard box.  That's poetic.
Snurk is Dutch for snoring, which makes them well qualified to offer these sleeping tips {and facts}.

Hopelessly devoted...

Two charming items are begging for my love.  Devotion carries the Marble Elephant and Brass Bookends.  I would love for a herd of these alabaster elephants to march along my dresser.

Garden charm...

Terrain is full of sweetness and charm in a perfectly understated manner.  Here is a sample of their delights {both new and vintage} for your home and garden.
Mossy lichens wrapped delicately in an organic shape. {How perfect is that wallpaper taking center stage from the background?!?}
Avian allures in the form of twigs and an image too sweet to resist.
Concrete magnolia {seriously, concrete}.
These antique French baby bottles are a charming glass display.
Galvanized garden glamour {or a pretty and pragmatic rubbish pail}.
In case you have a bit of darkness to light up with a bevy of charisma...

Porcelain perfection...

I was lounging in the deliciousness over at Design for Mankind when my heart skipped a beat for this piece of porcelain perfection from Far4.  I swoon over skeleton keys, and this one is no less swoon-worthy.
Far4 also has delicate porcelain pears that would be so graceful lounging around in my kitchen.

Jayson's still charming...

Today my tiny mail slot was full of sigh inducing beauty, the new Jayson Home & Garden catalog {it seems wrong to call a visual delight of beautifully styled bliss and products a mere catalog};each glossy page is filled with more perfection than the last.
Here are a few things that are longing to live under my roof.
A charming Bee Specimen Box.
Bone china Farmers Market Baskets with a smooth and glossy finish to hold the season's sweetest pickings.
Functional and structural whimsy, the Workshop Cage Lights.
I want to collapse into the historical Gloria Chair
Two sofas equally adorable and stunningly unique, the Angelica and Amalfi Sofa.

Subtle seduction...

Greige is often seducing me with sultry images of quiet glamour and introducing me to perfect shops like Cote Bastide.  Glimpses of linen and patina grace the Cote Bastide website.  Here is a handful of bliss.
