The nuclear receptor coactivator 3 also known as NCOA3 is a protein that, in humans, is encoded by the NCOA3gene. NCOA3 is also frequently called 'amplified in breast 1' (AIB1), steroid receptor coactivator-3 (SRC-3), or thyroid hormone receptor activator molecule 1 (TRAM-1).
Function
NCOA3 is a transcriptional coactivator protein that contains several nuclear receptor interacting domains and an intrinsic histone acetyltransferase activity. NCOA3 is recruited to DNA promotion sites by ligand-activated nuclear receptors. NCOA3, in turn, acylates histones, which makes downstream DNA more accessible to transcription. Hence, NCOA3 assists nuclear receptors in the upregulation of gene expression.

Fetal Monitoring in Labor, NICE Guideline (2022) / Updates in Cardiotocography, CTG
Fetal monitoring in Labor is well explained in the latest NICE guideline about intrapartum Care published in December 2022. This guideline covers methods for monitoring the wellbeing of the baby during labor. It includes risk assessment to determine the appropriate level of fetal monitoring, using clinical assessment in addition to fetal monitoring, and interpreting and acting on monitoring findings.
Intermittent auscultation is a safe and acceptable fetal monitoring method that is recommended during labor with low-risk pregnancies. There are two methods for fetal heart rate monitoring, external and internal. External fetal heart rate monitoring uses a device to listen to or record the fetal heartbeat through the mother's abdomen. Internal fetal heart rate monitoring uses an electronic tra...
