monitter.com -Way before X. Way before Elon got his hands on Twitter. Twitter themselves pulled the rug out from under small developers who built on top their platform. Monitter was great. But it died when twitter took away streaming access to seach (coincidentally, right after they implemented their own realtime search features and acquired Tweetdeck).
