Love paper trails, just had a VIP blow up about a software upgrade. I went back to our meeting minutes and found the section regarding the upgrade and copied it to the colleagues catching the blowback, there are smiles all around!
Yes you knew, you were in the meeting... Soz you weren't paying attention!
"poor areas and areas outside town generally have much slower and less reliable internet service."
Yes, these areas aren't ready yet, hopefully this will help put internet service at the same level as electrical service. In reality, this could be another way to divide the population yet again...
I have degrees, just not in my current field of employment. That was 20g spent back in the 80's for diplomas that do me Zero good at this point. I now consider the whole university concept to be horse and buggy thinking. Most jobs I've had I was "trained" once I got there, and my course in Mid 20th century military conflicts wasn't applicable. Nor was my course in creative writing...
I love it when I assist a user, problem solved, they are happy. Then the issue returns, and another member of the team takes the call. And then the original cause of the issue was all of a sudden me?! According to the user. It was a very uncomfortable moment for said user when I, and my colleague roll up to the office to confirm the issue and resolution.
