How to Draw a Peacock - Step-by-Step Tutorial
Step 1: First draw the head and the body. The head is very tiny and has a pointy beak. From the bottom of the beak draw a straight line down.
Step 2: Starting at the top of the beak draw a small curved line up and then down to make the rest of the body. Add a small tuft of feathers right on top of the head.
Step 3: Add a tail from the bottom of the body line circling back up all the way to the top of the head. Draw a small oval between the two body lines at the bottom. Now draw two thin legs. They are the same length as the body. Don't forget the wide toes at the bottom of the feet.
Step 4: Draw the first four long tail feathers along the right side of the body. Make them the same very long length with slightly different widths.
Step 5: Continue drawing four more tail feathers starting from the right side of the beak line. These feathers will be the same length as the first four. Draw some squiggly lines at the ends.
Step 6: Continuing around the top line of the head add the three middle tail feathers. These are also the same length as the previous tail feathers. They are slightly pointy.
Step 7: Keep adding six more tail feathers on the other side of the middle feathers. They should be very long, with slightly different lengths and widths.
Step 8: Finally, add the remaining 5 tail feathers along the left side of the tail. The last ones should reach the ground where the feet are.
