Rated 5 out of 5 by from This Grill Cooks Amazing! This is my second Weber Spirit 3. I only purchased it for the upgrades, but my original of 7 years was still working fine. It's all about taking good care of it. What I really like most is the newer ignition system that lights instantly. It heats up much faster and hotter. What I didn't like was the open backside which Weber has since corrected and will send you a full back panel like the older versions. This design change was not reflected in their brochures and made no sense. I hope they make this a permanent change so you will not have to request one. Overall Weber customer service is very good and responsive!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Bad heating Unable to get it hot enough. Worked with the warranty people and finally got a new regulator. No change. Can't get it passed 480 degrees (after 30 minutes.) I like to sear my steaks but can't. It take takes 15 minutes or more to get it to 350 and have to leave the center burner on to maintain that. My old Weber worked like a charm for many years. The burners run vertical instead of horizontal like my old one, so they are shorter. But it still should heat faster and i should be able to use indirect heating.
