Make sure you are installing your Dual-Sided Sear Grate on the right-hand side of your grill. With the burners off and the grill cool to the touch, remove the grate on the right.
Place your WEBER CRAFTED frame in the right-hand side of the grill. It should be positioned with the curved portions of the wire facing down. The WEBER logo should be toward
the front of the grill and facing up.
The cross-hatch surface is thicker on the meat side to give it a restaurant-quality sear. The cross-hatch surface is thinner on the vegetable/seafood
side so that these delicate foods are less likely to fall apart while handling them on the grill.
The Dual-Sided Sear Grate has helpful icons that let you know what side you should be using. When grilling meat, the cow and chicken icon
should be facing up. When grilling veggies or seafood, the fish and vegetable icon should be facing up.
You’ll want to preheat the grill for approximately 10-15 minutes with the Dual-Sided Sear Grate in place.
