میں یوں تو خواب کی تعبیر سوچتا بھی نہیں

سبحان اسد

میں یوں تو خواب کی تعبیر سوچتا بھی نہیں

مگر وہ شخص مرے رت جگوں کا تھا بھی نہیں

مرا نصیب وہ سمجھا نہ بات اشاروں کی

مرا مزاج کہ میں صاف کہہ سکا بھی نہیں

بڑی گراں ہے مری جاں یہ کیفیت مت پوچھ

کہ ان لبوں پہ گلہ بھی نہیں دعا بھی نہیں

یہ زندگی کے تعاقب میں روز کا پھرنا

اگرچہ اس طرح جینے کا حوصلہ بھی نہیں

یہ بے نیاز طبیعت یہ بے خودی کے رنگ

ہم اپنے آپ سے خوش بھی نہیں خفا بھی نہیں

اس ایک شکل کو جس دن سے کھو دیا ہے اسدؔ

مرے دریچے سے اب چاند جھانکتا بھی نہیں

magar wo shaKHs mere rat-jagon ka tha bhi nahin

mera nasib wo samjha na baat ishaaron ki
mera mizaj ki main saf kah saka bhi nahin

baDi giran hai meri jaan ye kaifiyat mat puchh
ki in labon pe gila bhi nahin dua bhi nahin

ye zindagi ke taaqub mein roz ka phirna
agarche is tarah jine ka hausla bhi nahin

ye be-niyaz tabiat ye be-KHudi ke rang
hum apne aap se KHush bhi nahin KHafa bhi nahin

us ek shakl ko jis din se kho diya hai 'asad'
mere dariche se ab chand jhankta bhi nahin
