نہ پرکشش ہے نہ آشنا ہے

شمامہ افق

نہ پرکشش ہے نہ آشنا ہے

مگر وہ چہرہ بھلا لگا ہے

ہرے جزیرے پہ زرد بادل

ہواؤں کو آج کیا ہوا ہے

کسی کی آنکھوں میں رات ٹھہری

کسی کی راتوں میں دن گھلا ہے

تری اداسی کا یہ دبستاں

کہیں کہیں سے جلا ہوا ہے

ہواؤ بوندوں کو راستہ دو

زمیں کا سینہ چٹخ رہا ہے

مری محبت کا سبز موسم

تری کمی میں ٹھہر گیا ہے

na purkashish hai na aashna hai
magar wo chehra bhala laga hai

hare jazire pe zard baadal
hawaon ko aaj kya hua hai

kisi ki aankhon mein raat Thahri
kisi ki raaton mein din ghula hai

teri udasi ka ye dabistan
kahin kahin se jala hua hai

hawao bundon ko rasta do
zamin ka sina chaTaKH raha hai

meri mohabbat ka sabz mausam
teri kami mein Thahar gaya hai
