اندھیرے ناپنا مشکل نہیں ہے

شائستہ جمال

اندھیرے ناپنا مشکل نہیں ہے

مگر سورج کا اتنا دل نہیں ہے

ستارے ٹوٹ کر گرتے ہیں کیسے

زمیں اس بات سے غافل نہیں ہے

گرا ہے میرے دامن پہ جو آنسو

وہ میری زیست کا حاصل نہیں ہے

نہ جانے کس کے ہاتھوں قتل ٹھہرا

وہ ظالم ہے مگر قاتل نہیں ہے

جسے شائستہؔ تو نے توڑ ڈالا

میں کہتی ہوں وہ میرا دل نہیں ہے
