جنوں پسند حریف خرد تو ہم بھی ہیں

جنوں پسند حریف خرد تو ہم بھی ہیں

عدو جو نیک نہیں ہے تو بد تو ہم بھی ہیں

ہزار صفر سہی اک عدد تو ہم بھی ہیں

تمہارے ساتھ ازل تا ابد تو ہم بھی ہیں

اب اتنا ناز سمندر مزاجیوں پہ نہ کر

کہ اپنے آپ میں اک جزر و مد تو ہم بھی ہیں

ہمیں قبول کہاں کم سواد کرتے ہیں

خراب مشغلۂ رد و کد تو ہم بھی ہیں

ہم اپنے آپ سے آگاہ اس قدر تو نہ تھے

چلو نشانۂ رشک و حسد تو ہم بھی ہیں

hazar sifr sahi ek adad to hum bhi hain

ab itna naz samundar-mizajiyon pe na kar

hamein qubul kahan kam-sawad karte hain
KHarab-e-mashghala-e-radd-o-kad to hum bhi hain

hum apne aap se aagah is qadar to na the
