PLEASANT HILL – After not being in action Saturday due to the weather, the Atlantic boys swimming team returned to the pool and brought home an eighth-place finish Tuesday night at the Larry White Invitational, hosted by Southeast Polk.
Keaten Rieken had the best finish of them all, coming in fourth in the 200-yard freestyle. Hunter Quist had two top-10 finishes, including the 200-yard individual medley and the 100-yard backstroke, where he was eighth and ninth, respectively.
The best relays finish was a sixth-place showing in the 200-yard freestyle relay, with Quist and Keaten Rieken teaming with Kort Rieken and Lucas Doyle to finish sixth.
The Trojans compete at a triangular Thursday at Carroll to wrap up the pre-Christmas schedule.
