Some of our courses offer advanced entry routes that enable students to gain exemption from Year 1 of study and go directly into Year 2 or sometimes 3. Advanced Entry is not available on all courses, and entry requirements may vary. Coming from college?
We provide tailored support for HNC and HND students, including advice on routes and practical advice and guidance through your transition into university. You can come into Year 1 or, for some degrees, you might be able to come into Year 2 or 3 (advanced entry). This means if you’ve completed an HNC or HND at college, you could be eligible for advanced entry by simply changing the year of entry on your application form.
Not all of our courses have advanced entry, so always check with us before you apply. You can find out if you're able to get advanced entry by using our articulation finder.
