Here are some guidelines for groups at the Saint Louis Science Center.
  • Groups are welcome at the Science Center.
  • Groups will be required to make an advanced reservation by contacting our Group Sales line at 314.286.4680 or by filling out our form.
  • Walk up groups will not be guaranteed entry into the Science Center.
  • Groups with children must have 1 adult chaperone for every 10 children.
  • When purchasing food for your group, mobile pay options are not available(ie. ApplyPay, GooglePay, Venmo, etc.)
  • If you need a place to eat your sack lunch for your group, please inquire with the group sales department at 314.286.4680, or email us, about other indoor group eating areas. The Loft and Science Café areas are not available for sack lunches.
  • Buses and RVs cannot park in the main lot or Planetarium Lot at the Science Center.

Live shows are offered on a variety of topics and are powered by our world-class ZEISS Universarium Mark IX star projector – one of only three in the United States.

The Science Center offers discounted voucher purchases to the OMNIMAX, Planetarium, and select Special Exhibitions. Omnimax vouchers are good for any of our regularly scheduled films (not valid on special screenings, special events or full-length feature films). Promo Codes

Can’t do a coordinated group visit to the Science Center? No problem. The Science Center offers the chance to set up a promo code for discounted individual purchases for Omnimax, Planetarium, or Special Exhibition tickets*. Have your school, company, or organization’s district office, HR department, or Marketing team inquire about setting up a special discount for your group. GROW Guided Tours

Take a guided tour of the Science Center’s indoor-outdoor agricultural exhibit, GROW. Learn about the science behind the food we eat and what’s growing in our gardens, and then chat with the Science Center’s resident chickens. GROW Guided Tours start at $150 for a 45-minute tour for up to 25 people. Anything over 25 people, will be another $150 as a separate group. Educator Discount

Thinking of bringing your class to see an OMNIMAX® Theater documentary film, McDonnell Planetarium star show, or Special Exhibition?

Get a preview by bringing a valid Educator ID to the Science Center box office to receive one discounted ticket. Save your receipt, then get one extra complimentary ticket for yourself when you reserve tickets to bring your group.
