Collaboration and Co- creation: To enlist new resources & allies • To enlist new resources and allies means to recruit or attract people or groups who can help you achieve your goals or support your cause. • It is a strategy that can be used in various contexts, such as community engagement, advocacy, health promotion, policy making, and research. To enlist new resources & allies Some ways to enlist new resources and allies are: 1. Identify and contact potential allies who share your interests, values, or vision 2. 2. Communicate your goals, needs, and expectations clearly and respectfully 3. 3. Listen to and learn from your potential allies’ goals, needs, and expectations To create better communication, and • Create better communication enable people at all levels of the community to work together to achieve the community’s goals and move it forward on the path of success and development. • When communication is effective, there is no space for misunderstanding or alteration of information which decreases the likelihood of conflict. It’s needed to guide the development of the project agenda by: • Expanding or redefining the focus of the initiative, • Identifying unexposed information, and • Creating a network of revenue sources and funding partners. Expanding or redefining the focus of the initiative • It’s absolutely beneficial to create more ideas and to search for new opportunities, so expanding or redefining the initiative’s focus allows us to operate beyond previous limitations. Identifying unexposed information, and • Unexposed information means that there are some things in the community that remains unacknowledged, so by exposing information on these things allows for beneficial changes. • Examples of unexposed information in project development could be Risk management, Poor communication, Ineffective management, and Lack of accountability. And leaving these things unnoticed causes major issues. Creating a network of revenue sources and funding partners • It’s a crucial step for us create a network for revenue and funding, because it’s the only manner in which we can afford the cost and resources to achieve the desired initiative. • Having a continuous network of funds keeps processes afloat and ensures that projects are being worked on without issues or delays.
