not just guess an action rather you will also
need to dance along for us to be energized!

For our first activity, I will give you a present/


gift box containing a variety of action words.

Christmas concept, since we are going to
tackle a simple present tense and its already
the month of Christmas. The term simple
Present or gift idea just pops up through my
mind, I hope you will also remember and apply
our lesson as my gift of knowledge for you!

Simple present tense is just one among the 12


verb tenses. It is also called as indefinite
present tenses.

Simple present tenses are used in three ways:

1. Habitual or General Actions:

- The simple present tense is commonly used


to describe actions that are repeated regularly
or habits. It indicates actions that happen in the
present, but not necessarily at the exact
moment of speaking.

For example:
- "I walk to school every day." (Describing a
regular action)
- "She brushes her teeth twice a day."
(Describing a habitual action)

2. General Truths and Facts:

- The simple present tense is used to express


general truths, universal facts, or permanent
situations that are not limited to a specific time.
It is often used to state something that is
always true or consistently applicable.

For example:
- "The Earth revolves around the sun."
(Stating a scientific fact)
- "Water boils at 100 degrees Celsius."
(Stating a physical property)
