Pre-Requisite Students should be well versed with the basic concepts of business plan and getting a
first hand on preparing their own business plan for their respective businesses.
Learning Objectives  To gain an insight as business owner and running one’s own startup.
 To understand and recognize that people are important dimension of Organizations.
 To acquaint the students with basic understanding of preparing business plan reports
in startups / workplace and people issues related to various facets with respect of
their job profiles. (PLO 1b- Ability to analyze various functional issues affecting the
organization).
 To learn the strategic role of being an entrepreneur, adaptable to changes, with
conducive and diverse culture and a best place to work. (PLO 1a- Acquiring
Conceptual Clarity of Various functional Areas).
 To learn the dynamics of contemporary start-ups in a changing environment.
 PLO3b- Demonstrate Ability to work in Groups. Exhibit skills like Empathy, EQ,
Managerial and Inter-Personnel Skills.
Learning Outcomes  Learners will be equipped with skills to analyze their business plans which would
impact their professional career.
 Giving insights to learners on how preparation and initial scrutiny is an important

Course Description The course on Entrepreneurship and Business Plan will acquaint the students to understand
the preparation on various initiatives and dynamics in a start-up. It also helps in gaining the
insights into various facets of business world as new-gen professionals. The learner will
understand how various businesses thrive in a dynamic changing market scenario
developing entrepreneurial skills and managing various stakeholders in the
market.
