The Topic What Major Changes Happen
In these three years I had big changes in my life. Changes in my English skills and
education, in my personal growth, and in my health care.
The first change i my English skills and education. I have been going to the
English courses for a big amount of time, and I already have been in: American
school, English home, and in English zone. By improving my English skills I also
improved in the education, because I was weak in English. By improving skills, I
was able to talk without any confusions, to talk with people who doesn't understand
our language, and to participate in the programs like: Flex.
The second, personal growth in dedication and being strong mentally. While I was
going to courses, I had some thoughts of not going there, but still I went there.
By time these thoughts disappear, and I understood that I became dedicated. I
became strong mentally by leaving my old friends from my old school, even if I
didn't want it, I had to do it for my better future, that's how I became strong
mentally
The third one, improving my health care. I was sick all the time, and I had
problems with my knees and my back. As doctor recommended me to go for swimming.
First times were hard for me, but I kept going, and after 3 months, I almost get
rid of all my physical weaknesses, I gained some weight and became more confident
in myself. Also swimming made my muscles grow which is also good for my body.
Describe a situation when you had a misunderstanding with friends or family, what
did you do?
As humans, we all make mistakes because nobody is perfect. One mistake I made
taught me an important lesson about the value of communication and the strength of
friendship.
On 17th December, on the same day my brother and my best friend had their
birthdays. My best friend Myrzabek was planning to call me for his birthday party.
However, I couldn't miss my brothers birthday. I had a hard decision to make, I had
to choose between attending my brother's birthday party and my best friend's
birthday celebration, both of which were on the same day.
We spent the whole day celebrating my brother's birthday. I enjoyed the day with my
family, I felt a sense of guilt for not communicating with my friend.
Unfortunately, I forgot to inform Myrzabek that I wouldn't be able to attend his
party. When I came home I tried to call him but he didn't pick his phone. I
immediately texted him, apologizing for my fault. We chose the day when we can meet
and talk with each other.
When we met, I apologized repeatedly.I gave him a birthday gift and hoped it would
help him forgive me. I listened to his emotions, he said he was: nervous and
anxious. I wasn't picking up the phone, the way he thought I was ignoring him. I
explained my situation, and showed him some photos with my family. As my best
friend, he understood my situation, and I made sure to understand his feelings as
well.
In conclusion, this experience taught me the strength of true friendship and the
importance of communication. It also showed me that carelessness can create
unnecessary problems. Since then, I've worked on being more responsible and serious
in my interactions.
What challenges have you faced in life and how did you overcome them?
In the 6th grade we had a competition among all 6 graders, as a leader of the team
I got challenges like: managing time and try to give a particular job for
everybody.
In the 6th grade, I became the leader of my class during a competition, and I chose
people who had unique talents, who were creative, who were smart, and who would
always participate everywhere. However, to manage in everybody's time was hard,
some of them were going to the courses and some were going to the sports. Also, the
same, I had to give everybody a task, where they were best at, but I didn't know
almost everything about them except their school lifes.
The hard part was to give everyone the particular job, because I didn't know their
best sides. I had a small conversation with all of them, and found what they are
best at. There were students who weren't that smart or creative, but they were
sportsmen and were unique, because on the talent show they would be the best
option. Others were helping me to make a presentation with other small stuffs which
would also improve our performance.
Everybody was glad, because they didn't feel lonely, because everybody had their
work.
In conclusion, we won 2nd place, and the experience brought us closer together. It
taught me valuable leadership lessons, including how to manage time and recognize
the strengths of others.
What three words would you use to describe yourself and why?
Adaptive, this is because I got used to new places and new relationships with
strangers. Before I used to go for many courses, and I met there new people, by
time it became easy for me to find new friends, and I think this is all because I
became more confident in myself. I walk a lot to the different places, this
experience also helped me to find a way when you are lost or when you don't know
what to do.
Creative, this is because I try to make new things that other people haven't done.
In the 8th grade I made my team for science week, I knew that if we do something
small and we will keep our money try not to waste them, then we will lose. Me and
my team made an experiment with explosion. Everybody's attention was on us, and we
almost exploded our school (Teachers told like that). That is why I am creative.
Determined, this is because I set my goals and I do all my best to achieve them.
The goal can be anything, I will do everything for this. Once I heard that I am the
worst student in my class because of my grades, I wanted to prove them with another
way, I made a goal to show them my achievement. For the long time I have been going
to the different courses, and I did it, I became high honored student in my school,
and proved them and myself that I can reach anything I want if I try.
Describe a situation when you were asked to do something you have never done, what
did you do and why?
