The learner demonstrates understanding of the concepts Hazards and
Different Types of Hazards.

The learner is able to spot, assess and control hazard and risk, and be able
to apply contingency measures.

At the end of the lesson the learner is able to:
a. identify hazards in the workplace.
b. perform contingency measures to ensure safety in the workplace.
c. appreciate the importance of awareness for the safety and health of the
people.

In this activity the Teacher will give situation or instances and the student
will determine the types of hazards

Ask their ideal workplace and the hazards that they might expose to.

The Teacher will ask students to make generalization about the hazards,
types and its prevention in the workplace.
H. Application
Using multiple differentiation strategies. The teacher will address the
learners’ interest, needs, and learning profile. By creating an activities that
are more interesting and engaging.
ANNOTATION: THE WORDS USED ARE ACCEPTABLE FOR ALL LEARNERS. THE WORDS WILL NOT, IN ANY WAY, HARM
THE BELIEFS OF THE IP’s LEARNERS.

The student will be performed by group. Let the students form their own
group. Each group will be given 5 minutes to accomplish their assign task.
Group 1 – Define hazard, risk and exposure in the workplace.
Group 2 – List down the types of hazards in the kitchen.
Group 3 – Poster making on how to apply appropriate safety measures while
working in the kitchen.
Group 4 – The teacher will provide necessary materials that are needed by the
students, after that the students must create and present an advance graphic
organizer. The graphic organizer must have the illustration drawings of the various
hazards and risk occurs inside kitchen area. LITERACY
