    NARRATIVE REPORT ON
    OUTREACH PROGRAM

    In order to intensify health and nutrition among the IP learners of Kisoy


    National High School. This project was launched last month of June 22, 2022, aims at
    reduction of acute malnutrition among the students in Kisoy National High School.
    The school was located in the boundary of Sarangani and Davao Occidental, many IP
    learners were lived in the community. The School Head of the school sir Ryan B.
    Angtud together with her fellow teachers conducted a meeting about the feeding
    program in some poor families in Blaan community, with collaboration and help of the
    PTA, SGC and SSG Officers the said activity was successfully conducted. To eradicate
    the hungriness of the learners was the aim of the school.

    Ma’am Roenier G. Manlangit, one of my fellow teachers in the school, we


    conducted the program at 7:30 in the morning and we served arroz caldo to our
    children that just the learners together with their parents and siblings. We prepared the
    meal with the help of the PTA officers and SGC officers. It is heart fulfilling activities
    for us to see that our IP learners together with their parents are excited in preparing
    themselves in the said program. The activity begins in an opening prayer lead by Ms.
    Daylen Waling one of the SGC officers and after the prayer we started the serving, we
    prioritize first the learners and followed by the parents. The school was happy that this
    program was successfully finished and lot of the IP learners of Kisoy National High
    School was fed during the outreach program. It was very fulfilling that in our own
    simple ways; we were be able to help and made our learners feel that some people care
    for them through our feeding activity. Even though it lasted in 2 hours, the laughter and
    joy on the face of the IP learners was unmeasurable. Most of all, I have learned the
    value of sharing in this activity and hopefully next school year together with the school
    and staff will continue this program for the IP learners of Kisoy National High School.
