    meaningful way, while inferential statistics compares, tests and predicts data.

    utilizes probability.

    The description “fundamental” gives an outright implication that the absence of one
    element is the totality of none, but if I were to choose, I’d say sample. By the definition
    itself, it can be deduced that no data can be collected, organized, and analyzed if the
    subject for analysis, the sample, does not exist. A sampling unit is the building block of a
    data set (Daniel, 2018, as cited in SST, 2018).

    The presentation of the topics had widened my perspective about the nature of statistics. It
    also provided ample explanations about the basic concepts dealt in the discipline that
    enabled me to learn how to identify one specific data from another.
