NARRATIVE REPORT

I. TITLE OF THE ACTIVITY: IGNITE THE PASSION FOR TEACHING IN THE NEW NORMAL

II. VENUE: ZOOM

IV. PARTICIPANTS: Araling Panlipunan Teachers in Panipuan High School

V. HIGHLIGHTS OF THE ACTIVITY

The AP LAC session started on time. The activity aims to relive and ignite the passion for teaching in this New
Normal. The following were the topics during the LAC Session:
1. Learning Modality
 The facilitator reviewed and discussed the different learning modalities during distance learning like;
Synchronous, Asynchronous, Bichronous and Blended. She also discussed DepEd’s learning modalities
options under the Learning Continuity Plan.
 The facilitator also shared a video about “Remote Learning: Teaching Strategies and Tips”
2. Action Plan/Annual Plan in AP
 The Facilitator explained to the AP Teachers the action plan that she crafted for S. Y. 2021-2022.
 AP Teachers grouped into two for the task in crafting the Action Plan for the next school year.
3. Revised AP DLPs
 The Facilitator explained the Revised Model DLP’s to the AP Teachers. Since all of the AP Teachers are non-
major, she discussed what part of the DLP will be given an evaluation. They all agreed with the following:
 Last page of the SIPACK will be the assessment and evaluation. This will be the basis for their
grades per lesson. But they will let the students answer the activities given in the SIPACKs.
4. Video Lecturettes
 The Facilitator showed the video lecturette sample of Ma’am Kristine Balajadia. For them to have an idea on
how to make a video lecturette for their students.
 The AP Teachers were grouped again into two for the task in making a video lecturette per quarter.
 The AP Team agreed that for the next LAC Session the topic is “ How to Make Learning Resources in AP:
Media Literacy & ICT Integration.
5. Grading System in AP
 The Facilitator discussed the Grading system in Araling Panlipunan in this New Normal.
 In AP Subject: Written Works is 40% and Performance Task is 60%. Just like last school year, Quarterly exam
is not possible.
 AP Teachers should monitored the student’s progress by using Individual Learning Monitoring Plan Template.
 The Facilitator proposed the used of narrative report providing on accurate and constructive feedback to
improve learner’s performance.
5. Assessment, Evaluation and Remediation
 The Facilitaor discussed the possible remediation activities for those students who needs assistance to their
teachers.
Over all the AP LAC Session was successful.
