    Module 1

    Research on and choose 1 artwork made by a Filipino Contemporary artist, and in a


    paragraph, identify the characteristics present and interpret the chosen artwork
    in your own words.

    Module 2
    Determine the art period of the given artworks, art forms, or art institutions
    below:

    Module 3
    Identify what is being asked for in each question.
    1. A human-like figure made of hardwood believed to be a granary god that
    assures the community of a bountiful harvest
    2. Refer to the act of borrowing or reusing existing elements within a new
    work.
    3. This refers to the context of art that affects the culture and ideologies that
    directly influence the life of the artist.

    meanings are deliberately adapted, and therefore evolve with the current
    mindset.

    next by T’boli women weavers, or the dream weavers from South Cotabato.
    8. A context of art where its significance lies not only in its aesthetic
    appearance,
    but also in its functionality and its value to the community that produced it.
    9. A kind of paper-cutting art from the province of Bulacan. The colorful,
    intricately cut Japanese papers are used as decorative elements and also
    as pastilles wrappers.
    10. A context of art that is based on many different elements that affect how
    an artist conceptualizes and produces his or her artwork.

    and teh GAMABA Awardees receive, do you think it is fair that the NAtional Artists
    are granted higher monthly monetary stipned and minimum cash award? Explain your
    answer.
