Do you agree on the tag that “Philippines is a Fiesta Island of the

Pacific?” Is it because their abundant, colorful, and lively festivals became a
part of the Filipino cultural heritage. From Luzon down to Mindanao festivals,
to simple and glamorous preparations, are clear manifestation of Filipinos’
strong beliefs inherited from their ancestors as an expression of thanksgiving
for a bountiful harvest. They also celebrate festivals in theatrical forms to
display and celebrate their moods and feelings of festivity.
In this activity, you are expected to showcase your skills in various
forms such as a performing artist or a creative artist in making props or
costume design or even as a production manager, a choreographer.
At the end of the activities, the students should be able to:

1. analyzes the uniqueness of each group’s performance of their
selected festivals or theatrical form. A7 PRIVh-2
2. choreograph the movements and gestures reflecting the mood of
