Tanza National Trade School gather the baseline data of all the students every JULY to know
and identify the underweight/below normal children that will be included in the feeding program.
Together with the school nurse, clinic teachers and
with the help of the canteen fund, and vegetables
from “gulayan sa paaralan” are utilized for the said

SAMPLE OF RECIPE/MENU
Ingredients:
1/3 c cooking oil
1 tbsp. onions, sliced
¼c tomatoes, cubed
1 tbsp. ginger, chopped
½c shrimps, tagunton
½c dilis, dried
1c water
½c squash, cubed
½c string beans, cut 1” long
2c coco milk, diluted in 1 ½ c water
2c kangkong leaves
1/3 tsp. salt, iodized
Procedure:
1. Saute onions, tomatoes, ginger, shrimps and dilis.
2. Pour water and let boil. Add squash and string beans. Cook until tender.
3. Add coco milk and simmer uncovered.
4. Add kangkong leaves. Simmer until cooked
5. Season with salt
6. Serve hot.

Size per serving : 200g, 1 c
MALUNGGAY BURGER
Ingredients:
1¼c squash, boiled, mashed
½c halaan, boiled, chopped
½c carrots, chopped
2 tbsp. onions, tagalong, chopped
4c malunggay leaves
½c biscocho
2 pcs. Eggs, chicken, beaten
½ tsp. salt, coarse
4 tbsp. cooking oil
Procedure:
1. Mix all the ingredients together except oil. Blend well.
2. Drop by spoonful in deep hot cooking oil.
3. Cook over medium heat until golden brown.
4. Serve with catsup or plain with nutribun.
