1. How do gender stereotypes affect people?

Gender stereotypes are harmful because they don’t allow people fully express
themselves and their emotions. For example, It’s harmful to feminine folks to feel that they’re
too allowed to be independent, smart or assertive. Breaking down gender stereotypes allows
everyone to be their best selves.

2. What happens if someone is born intersex?

Most of the time when a person is born intersex should be accepted the naturally
occurring variation in humans and isn’t a medical problem. It’s hard to know exactly how many
people are intersex and someone involves to the discrimination and sometimes doctor s do
surgeries on intersex person to make their bodies fit binary ideas of male or female.

3. What are the difference between, sex, gender, and gender identity?

Sex and gender are often used inter gable, despite having different meanings. Sex is a
biological and physical attributes, gender refers to masculine or feminine behaviors while
gender identity is the psychological state of viewing oneself as a girl or boy, and later as a man
or woman.

4. How will you define gender roles and stereotypes.


Gender role is how a person outwardly shows theirs gender identity. It includes our
expected to act such as person do thing, hairstyle and pronouns choice etc. While the
stereotypes are based on beliefs.

5. How can I fight gender stereotypes?

Mostly in the society we probably see gender stereotypes, we have seen or experienced
sexism or discrimination based on gender, however, we must fight this kind of challenge by “be
true” talk with your friends and family members about stereotypes you see and help others
understand how sexism and gender stereotypes can be hurtful.
