ABNORMAL PSYCHOLOGY

MSTIP VISION:
A community of administrators, teachers, parents, and students working together to
produce competent graduates and skilled workers whose individual lives are improved and thus

PROGRAM OUTCOMES:
Bachelor of Science in Psychology is a profession that applies Psychology concepts,
principles and strategies to respond the needs of industrial partners. As such graduates of this
program are capable of handling job requirements in industrial-related jobs such as human
resources, workplace analysis, training and organizational development. Furthermore, products
of this program can aid industries in developing and enhancing relevant knowledge and skills in
industrial psychology that is vital for organizational sustainability.

I. COURSE DESCRIPTION:

An introduction to the nature, causes and possible interventions of psychological


Disorders. The students are expected to be familiar with the nomenclature and
classifications of mental disorders, by the end of the course. Indigenous concepts of
abnormality and abnormal behavior will also discussed. Ethical consideration in abnormal
psychology are discussed.

II. COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES:

At the end of the course. The learner are expected to:

behaviors and symptoms
