    LOCAL LITERATURE AND STUDIES:

    Nature's Village Resort (NVR) is a garden paradise located in Talisay City, only 3.5 km from central Bacolod, the
    capital of Negros Occidental, Philippines. Set against the backdrop of Mt. Marapara, Nature's Village Resort offers
    unique accommodations where nature-lovers can bask in unspoiled beauty while remaining close to the city!

    At NVR, you are nestled right at the heart of business and leisure as it bridges Silay City --- home to turn-of-the-
    century Spanish ancestral houses of Negros Island --- and Bacolod City --- home to the region's colorful Masskara
    Festival.

    Nature's Village Resort gets ASEAN green hotel award


    Nature's Village Resort was nominated by the Department of Tourism through the Tourism Office of Talisay City,
    Negros Occidental in the ASEAN Green Hotel Recognition Awards 2010 at the Empire Hotel in Brunei Darussalam.

    NVR is the only resort-hotel that made it to the Top 10 among other tourism establishments in Western Visayas.
    Kasai Village Dive and Spa Resort –

    Kasai Village Resort was established in October 2006 under Swedish management. Since then, it
    has been meticulously managed by Mr. Michael Pettersson and his wife Lydia. They are
    assisted by additional resort staff, dive instructors, divemasters and the local boatmen who are
    always helpful and familiar with the area. Kasai Village Resort was gradually developed over the
    years.

    Environment-Friendly and Sustainable Development to Protect Nature

    We maintain a sustainable development of the resort in accordance with nature and the native
    inhabitants of the island. Our overall aim is the protection and preservation of the unique
    beauty of the Island of Cebu and its environment. To ensure that future generations will be able
    to enjoy it, we take good care of the environment; we segregate garbage and dispose of it
    properly and we are always mindful of the little ways we can take care of our surroundings. Our
    activities are characterized by a consciousness of our social and ecological responsibilities.
    Cordova Reef Village Resort is on Mactan Island in Cebu. The hotel features free Wi-
    Fi, free parking, an outdoor pool and a private lounge on Beach Pergolas.

    The air-conditioned rooms include a minibar, cable TV and a private terrace. Bathroom
    amenities and hot/cold water are provided.

    The hotel features massage services, room service and currency exchange. Laundry
    and ironing services are available. Outdoor dining is available at Mar Bantayan
    Restaurant and Abutanana Bar.

    Cordova Reef Village Resort is a 20-minute drive from Mactan-Cebu International


    Airport.
