Quality Assurance Manager – September 2013 – February 2013 – Eipix Entertainment

My job was to get an early build of any game company was producing and to test it
thoroughly. From sound in each of the scenes to graphic glitches and game play itself. We
were free to make suggestions how certain levels/parts of the game would look like and
they were most of the time implemented due to our extensive testing experience. We were
making game guides as well as tutorials that were coming with the game on how to beat
every puzzle/hidden object part of the game via screenshots. Our daily routine was starting
with a daily meeting with game producers/senior level designers/sound technicians and
game artists/movie makers. As part of the QA team we had extensive off-the-work training
with BigFish company regarding our game testing skills.

Day to day work included but was not limited to:

Checking Jira for programmer notes, checking SVN for new builds if programmer is absent
from work on that particular day, clearing off the issues list on JIRA and internal tracking
tool by testing the game, chats with programmers/designers/producers about the game and
what would be good to improve/remove or add in it to preserve the genre and to improve
to gameplay.
