This Full-Moon-in-Taurus Limpia Will Help You Embrace Love and Growth

The Full Moon in Taurus is the last supermoon in a series of four consecutive supermoons that began in August. It's a great time to ask yourself: how have the last four months been? It's likely you've been undergoing a transformation of sorts. This could be in your life overall or in specific areas like work, romance, and friendships. You may have also felt the pull to strengthen the bond with yourself. It's not always about what is going on externally, and over the past three supermoons, it is very likely you've come to this realization or someone close to you has.

The supermoons and eclipses that have occurred since the end of summer have created a ripe space for major change in your life and within yourself. Now, as we head into the last Mercury retrograde of 2024, which begins on Nov. 25, we must be careful in what we say and how we say it. This could get tricky as we head into holiday season, a time that is both joyous and trauma-inducing for many. Still, you got this, because you know and understand now, possibly more than ever before, that you are a magical being with the ability to co-create the life of your dreams alongside Spirit and your guides.

So, strut your stuff. Wear clothing that makes you look and feel your best. Shine from the inside out. Taurus gives that luxurious and sexy energy to be who you are, fully and unapologetically. You can do this in the classiest of ways and still some will find cause to hate on you through this level up. Understand that their opinion has nothing to do with you and really is only a projection of something they see in themselves. Remember, everyone and everything in this life is a reflection of ourselves in some way.

When you see someone or something that inspires you and lights your soul on fire, follow that path. All the rest can be left in the dust of old paths, patterns, and ways of thinking. It's time for long-lasting growth. Because Taurus is ruled by Venus, the planet of love, beauty, pleasure, and harmony, you can absolutely attain a new level of growth in the most loving way to yourself and others.

The Supermoon in Taurus will illuminate the sky on Nov. 15. Its peak takes place at 4:28 p.m. ET, so expect some amazing displays in the sky right before sunset. This big, bright moon will also be visible the night before and after its peak.

This is known as the Beaver Moon because it corresponds with the time of year when beavers begin to gather and store food for the winter. While full moons provide space to let things go, the beaver's focus and intention at this time of year can also be useful for us. As we shed what no longer serves us, we should take special care to think about what fills that space. Like the beaver, we should be storing it with things that are nutritious for our mind, body, and spirit.

This is a great time for deep meditation and energy work, which can help you gain clarity on your path. Because Taurus is an Earth sign, grounding work is also essential at that time. Coming off a presidential election that caused high anxiety and fear among many, it's important to ground and balance that root chakra to reassure yourself down to a cellular level that you are safe. It may not feel that way, and if you're struggling to find a solid footing following the results, remember that you are not alone. Turn to Spirit and your guides and speak it out loud that you need support and don't feel you can do it alone.

Ingredients:

Sea salt

Pink Himalayan salt

Sage

Palo santo

Florida Water

Herbs: gingko, rosemary, and ginger

Flowers: daisies, poppies, or lilies

Crystals: obsidian, black tourmaline, pyrite, amethyst

Essential Oils: jasmine, rose, ylang ylang

Candle Color: red, yellow, or green

Ritual:

1. For the last supermoon of 2024, take special care to prep your space. Physically clean it, including the doors, windows, and floors. You can do this the same day as your full moon ritual or a day or two before.

2. Once your space is physically cleaned, it's time to spiritually cleanse it. Begin by burning some sage and allowing the smoke to gently dance around as it rids your space of negative, stagnant energy. Follow it with palo santo, and thank the sacred herb and tree for their healing properties.

3. Next, bring a big pot of water to a gentle boil. As the water is heating up, you can begin adding your ingredients.

4. Start with a few handfuls of herbs. You can massage the herbs beforehand if you wish. This will help to release the natural oils in the herbs.

5. Next, add several drops of essential oils and a few splashes of Florida Water. Mix in with a wooden spoon as you speak your intentions into the water.

6. Add one cup of sea salt and Pink Himalayan salt and mix in with a wooden spoon until fully dissolved.

7. Lower the heat to a very low simmer for about 10 minutes. Then drain and allow the limpia water to cool to a desired, safe temperature.

8. Cover the top of your limpia with flower petals and save some of the flowers for your Taurus Supermoon altar.

9. Find a good spot for your altar. When you do, place the candle, crystals, a vase with flowers, and anything else you'd like to add to your altar. Light the candle as a symbol that your intentions have been received and magic is underway.

10. Take your limpia bowl to the shower and when you're ready, gently pour it over your body. As it rolls down your skin, imagine it clearing and cleansing anything that is holding you back.

11. Afterwards, air dry or dry with a light-colored towel. You can now journal, dance, sing, pray, make love, or whatever you feel called to do.
