Black Friday is a wonderful time of the year to be a gamer, or to shop for gamers in your life, because prices plummet on 2024’s best games, as well as on controllers, gaming gift cards, and sometimes consoles, too. While the official Black Friday deals will kick off before the sun comes up on Nov. 29, retailers have gotten into the habit of launching many of its deals early — and by early, we mean now. We have a big roundup of the best early Black Friday deals that covers a wide range of products, from board games and books to electronics. This one’s just about gaming.

If you’re revisiting this page, or joining us for the first time, some heavy-hitting deals were recently added, including first-ever Black Friday price cuts on Nintendo Switch consoles and first-party accessories (like Joy-Cons and the Switch Pro controller), and some of the biggest discounts we’ve seen on must-play Switch games. Not to be outdone, the Asus ROG Ally X is $100 for the first time at Best Buy, and the Meta Quest 3S includes a $75 gift card. Also, Genki’s great Covert Dock 2 that’s perfect for Switch and Steam Deck was added, along with a glossy Asus 27-inch QHD OLED gaming monitor.

The best Nintendo Switch deals

As the Switch has many exclusive games on sale, you’ll find multiplatform titles in the Xbox section even though, in most cases, the Switch version is selling at the same price.
