Instead of waking you up at 3:00 am, we spend a
calm night in a lodge and then begin the trip at a reasonable and comfortable time so that you can enjoy the beautiful Mountain of 7 Colors Vinicunca in all its magnitude.
TRIP ITINERARY
CUSCO-CUSIPATA
We will pick you up between 5:30 to 6:00 pm from your lodging in Cusco.
Our tourist service bus will take you south from Cusco to the town of Cusipata. The transfer lasts approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes on the Cusco-Sicuani highway.
We will arrive at our Destination “Cusipata River Lodge”. Upon arrival, the rooms will be assigned, then dinner will be served and we will pass the night in double or multi-bed rooms at our lodge (D)
RAINBOW MOUNTAIN - VINICUNCA
After breakfast (5:00 am), our transport will pick us up from the lodge to take us to the Rainbow Mountain passing through the typical town of Chillihuani.
We will continue by road, surrounded by a very beautiful landscape where we can see a small canyon. Finally, we will arrive at Phulawasipata, where we will rent horses if needed and then start our adventure.
The hike up is approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Continuing with the walk we will take in the snow-capped mountains and wonderful landscapes in the distance to finally reach the Mountain of 7 Colors; from the highest point you can see this attractive landscape in all its magnitude.
After appreciating and taking photos we will start the return with a walk of 1 hour and 30 minutes, arriving at Phulawasipata and then returning to the Cusipata River Lodge for lunch and time to relax in the sauna.
Our transport will be waiting to return us to Cusco, where we will arrive at approximately 4:00 pm (B + L)
