How the IKEA Sell-back program works

A white RÅSKOG trolley filled with office supplies.

1. Calculate your furniture's value

Submit an application to check how much in-store credit you'll get for your used IKEA products. You must be an IKEA Family member to qualify.

2. Receive your estimate

Look out for an email with your estimated quote and a unique code number for your offer.

3. Bring it back to us

Bring your assembled furniture to the IKEA store that approved your sell-back articles within 30 days of receiving your estimate.

4. Assessment and final offer

At the exchange & returns area, the condition of your furniture will be examined and a final price will be given. This can differ from the original estimate.

5. Get your IKEA refund card

You will receive in-store credit to spend online or in store at any time. It can't be used in our Bistros, Restaurants or Swedish Food Markets (IKEA Food).

Instead of letting them go to waste, consider donating them to a Furniture Bank location in the Greater Toronto Area. Even if your items don't meet our criteria, they could still benefit someone in need. Help us promote sustainability and reduce waste by giving your furniture a second chance at life.
