We are in the process of completing plans for a comprehensive house renovation with Foley Fiore Architecture. This is the second major project with their firm, and when we found this home we knew we had to reach out to them to assist us. They create beautiful things! Melanie Hartwig-Davis, AIA, LEED BD+C - HD Squared Architects, LLC is an exceptional architectural firm that United Church of Christ of Annapolis hired in 2021-2022 to design the renovation of the house our church owns. Her team gave us numerous options and amazing visions based on various budgets on how we could proceed with the total renovation of the house. She worked marvelous with our Church Council throughout this process and guided us through all the steps that needed to be taken in order to start and complete the project. There were several complicated issues with the property that needed to be addressed and her team resolved them for us. As our Congregation stated, it was money well spent! We remodeled a 1960's home that had undergone prior renovations, but need a major updating. Greg was creative in coming up with useful architectural and functional features along with a compelling new design/rearrangement

I interviewed three local Architects and I am SO GLAD I chose John Schroeder and his team. They did a phenomenal job! I've lived in my home for 30 years and my wish list for this renovation project was long. We added 600 square feet, creating a new en suite primary bedroom, dressing room and laundry room, all on one level, enabling me to age-in-place in my 1936 Craftsman style home. We also added a beautiful patio and a gunite pool greatly increasing the outdoor living spaces. John and his team were attentive to detail, thoughtful, and communicative, always balancing creativity with economics. Their ideas preserved the unique character of the house while bringing it into the 21st century. I could not be more pleased with the result!
